Silverman & Associates is a full service tax and accounting firm located on eastern Long Island. We provide individualized service for tax preparation and all of your accounting and bookkeeping needs. We offer a full range of tax preparation and accounting services.

Our firm's reputation for providing quality service reflects the high standards we demand of ourselves. Our high standards, responsive service and specialized staff spell the difference between our firm and the rest.

We work closely with Financial Advisors, Stockbrokers and Insurance Agents to make sure our client's needs are met whether it be retirement planning, tax liability or insurance requirements.

Michele Silverman, EA

Founder and President, is a former IRS Agent licensed by the US Treasury and authorized by the Internal Revenue Service to represent individuals, corporations, LLCs, Not-for-Profit Corporations, and partnerships before the Federal and State taxing authorities. Her expertise in tax matters issues and representation is well recognized within the Internal Revenue Service and NYS Department of Taxation and Finance as well as by her peers within the tax practice community. As a licensed Enrolled Agent of the US Treasury, Ms. Silverman is qualified in the practice of tax related matters.
Ms. Silverman has been in practice for over twenty years and has successfully resolved many client issues in offers-in-compromise, installment agreements and other individual and small business tax related matters. She is also a Notary Public.

Annmarie DeMasi

Annmarie graduated from CW Post in 1991 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Joining our firm in 2005, she brings her keen analytical skills specializing in small business accounting and analysis. Annmarie’s professionalism and knowledge adds to the foundation our practice is built on. Her experience ranges from small businesses to working in multi-million dollar corporations. She is also a Notary Public. Annmarie’s expertise gives our clients the peace of mind knowing their accounts are being managed properly.

Jennifer Kreuter, MBA

Jennifer comes to Silverman & Associates with her MBA from Hofstra University. She has accumulated over 22 years tax preparation experience. In her years of experience, Jennifer has worked with mostly small businesses ranging from sole proprietors to not for profit organizations. Jennifer's extensive experience with tax preparation and accounting knowledge further provides our clients with the knowledge that their accounts are being effectively managed. Jennifer lives locally and is married to an attorney who is not in practice and is the service manager of his family's local marine business.

Elizabeth LeDeoux

Liz joined our firm in 2006. Liz brings her exceptional analytical and research abilities to Silverman & Associates. She ensures the security, integrity and confidentiality of our data system . Liz’s organizational capabilities allows the office management to move in a seamless progression from initial contact to completion.
